A naturopathic doctor’s role in a child’s health is developing a lasting relationship with the child and their parents. Office visits are typically longer than a traditional pediatrician visit. For best care possible, we ensure the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of a child’s health are all taken into account. Highly knowledgeable in the risks and benefits to vaccination, pediatric naturopathic physicians accept patients who chose follow the typical vaccination schedule, vaccinate, vaccinate on an alternative schedule or choose not to. Natural medicines are generally very gentle and safe. However, we are trained in both conventional and natural treatments. We write prescriptions for medications as necessary.
