Scottsdale Country Club, formerly Starfire Golf Club, is a public golf course in Scottsdale, AZ offering 28 holes of golf via our 18-hole championship course (the first built in Scottsdale, in 1953), and the Six Shooter 10-hole short course, renewed and re-opened in 2026. Scottsdale Country Club's driving range has 24 Trackman-enabled covered hitting bays, and our Bandana 9-hole putting course is free to anyone looking for a fun putting experience. At SCC we also host the world-renowned Kostis Teaching Academy. The Robin's Nest coffee bar and beer garden and our clubhouse restaurant offer a wide variety of breakfast of lunch options.
The Snake Golf Course Public golf course
The Snake Golf Course is a 12-hole golf course at Scottsdale Country Club, in the heart of Scottsdale Arizona. It takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes to play, focusing mainly on short game and putting. It has unique features, like QR codes with funny stories on each hole, and a giant blue boulder on the 4th hole — that provide a playful, fun experience for golfers.
